The Earth is Yahuah’s!

Psalm 24:1 from the Cepher translation, which states, “The earth is Yahuah’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein,” proclaims the sovereignty of Yahuah (God) over all creation. It emphasizes that everything within the earth, including its fullness (resources, creatures, and people), belongs to Yahuah. This verse asserts that humanity and all of creation are under His dominion.

In relation to those who claim otherwise, this scripture stands as a bold declaration against any belief system or ideology that denies Yahuah’s ownership and authority over the earth. In today’s world, many people and philosophies might claim autonomy, independence, or ownership over aspects of the world, whether through political power, economic control, or philosophical assertions of self-sovereignty. Such claims often seek to exclude or diminish the acknowledgment of a higher power, asserting that humanity alone is the master of its destiny and the ruler of the earth.

However, Psalm 24:1 serves as a reminder that no matter the claims of individuals or societies, the ultimate truth remains that Yahuah is the Creator and Sustainer of all. The earth, with all its fullness, does not belong to any human or system but to Yahuah alone. This verse challenges those who might think they can usurp divine authority or live without accountability to the Creator. It calls believers to recognize and honor Yahuah’s rightful ownership of all things and live in accordance with His will, despite any prevailing contrary claims in the world.

In essence, this scripture reaffirms the divine order and challenges the notions of human ownership and control that contradict the truth of Yahuah’s supreme authority. It invites reflection on the importance of humility and reverence toward the Creator, who is the true owner of all that exists.

Here are some aspects of the “fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein” that many people or ideologies may claim ownership, control, or authority over, contrary to the assertion that all belongs to Yahuah:

1. Natural Resources

  • Land: People often claim ownership of land, asserting control through property rights, real estate, and territorial disputes.
  • Water: Control over rivers, lakes, and oceans is often contested, with nations and corporations claiming rights to these resources.
  • Minerals: Gold, oil, diamonds, and other precious minerals are often extracted and controlled by governments or private companies.
  • Forests: Deforestation and logging often happen under the claim of ownership or economic necessity, despite environmental consequences.

2. Human Life

  • Human Autonomy: Some philosophies and worldviews emphasize individual autonomy, claiming that humans are the ultimate authority over their own lives and bodies, often disregarding divine authority.
  • Government Control: Governments and political systems may claim authority over people’s lives, decisions, and even moral beliefs, sometimes placing the state above divine law.
  • Slavery and Human Trafficking: Historically and even today, there are instances where people claim ownership over other human beings, violating the belief that all people belong to Yahuah.

3. Wealth and Economy

  • Money: Many believe that wealth is created and controlled by human effort alone, often disregarding the idea that all provision comes from Yahuah.
  • Global Economy: Economic systems and markets are often seen as self-governing entities, with human beings claiming mastery over financial systems, disregarding divine principles of justice and fairness.

4. Knowledge and Wisdom

  • Science and Technology: Some claim that human intellect and technological advancement are the ultimate sources of truth and power, often neglecting the wisdom and knowledge that come from Yahuah.
  • Education Systems: Educational institutions sometimes promote secular worldviews, suggesting that knowledge comes solely from human reasoning rather than divine revelation.

5. Social Structures

  • Cultural Norms: Societies often establish norms and values that prioritize human desires over divine commandments, claiming authority over morality and ethics.
  • Media and Influence: The media and entertainment industry often claim influence over public opinion and culture, shaping values and beliefs that may conflict with divine truth.

6. Human Achievement and Identity

  • Personal Success: Many people attribute their success solely to their own efforts, disregarding divine providence and the role Yahuah plays in their lives.
  • Identity and Purpose: In contemporary culture, there is often an emphasis on self-identity and self-definition, where individuals claim the right to define their purpose and existence apart from divine intention.

7. Creation and Nature

  • Environmental Control: There are those who believe that humanity has the right to manipulate and control nature entirely, without acknowledging that it belongs to Yahuah.
  • Genetic Modification: Advances in genetics and biotechnology sometimes lead to the belief that humans can control life at its most fundamental levels, disregarding the sanctity of life as part of Yahuah’s creation.

8. Spiritual Authority

  • Religious Institutions: Some religious leaders or institutions claim authority over spiritual matters, sometimes placing themselves in a position of power that should be reserved for Yahuah.
  • Philosophical and Ideological Movements: Various movements or ideologies claim ultimate truth or authority over spiritual matters, challenging the belief that all spiritual truth comes from Yahuah.

These examples illustrate how many claim ownership, control, or authority over different aspects of the world, often in ways that conflict with the belief that Yahuah is the true owner of all creation.

The Sovereign Warning: A Call to Repentance for Those Who Usurp Yahuah’s Authority

To all who claim ownership, control, or authority over the earth and its fullness—be warned and take heed: the earth and all that is within it belongs to Yahuah, the Creator and Sustainer of all life. No man, no nation, no power can lay claim to that which is divinely owned. Your wealth, your land, your resources, your influence—none of it is yours by right. It is Yahuah who grants dominion for a season, and it is Yahuah who can remove it in an instant.

You who claim sovereignty over the natural world, remember that the land you stand upon was spoken into existence by Yahuah’s word. The waters you seek to control flow at His command. The minerals and resources you extract from the earth were placed there by His hand. Your greed, your exploitation, your disregard for the sanctity of creation—these are offenses against the One who owns all.

To those who claim authority over human life, who wield power over others as if you are gods—be warned! Every soul belongs to Yahuah, and every life is precious in His sight. Your attempts to dominate, enslave, or oppress others are acts of rebellion against the One who created them. The lives you think you control are not yours; they are Yahuah’s, and He will hold you accountable for every injustice, every violation of His sacred order.

You who trust in your wealth and possessions, who believe that your success is the result of your own strength—know this: your wealth is fleeting, and your power is temporary. Yahuah gives and Yahuah takes away. The gold you hoard, the empires you build, the influence you exert—they are all as dust before the Almighty. Do not deceive yourselves into thinking that your riches can shield you from His judgment.

To those who claim wisdom and knowledge apart from Yahuah, who place your faith in human intellect and deny the source of all truth—be warned! The wisdom of man is foolishness before Yahuah. Your theories, your philosophies, your advancements—they are nothing without the fear of Yahuah, which is the beginning of true wisdom. You who exalt your knowledge above His Word will be humbled, for Yahuah will not share His glory with another.

And to those who seek to reshape the world according to your own desires, who reject Yahuah’s commandments and set yourselves as the final authority—beware! Your attempts to redefine morality, to control nature, to shape life according to your will, are acts of defiance against the Creator. Yahuah will not be mocked. What you sow, you will surely reap. His judgment will come swiftly upon those who corrupt His creation and reject His rule.

This is a call to repentance. Turn from your pride, your arrogance, and your rebellion against Yahuah. Acknowledge that you are but stewards of what belongs to Him. Humble yourselves before the One who holds all power and authority in His hands. For the day is coming when Yahuah will judge the earth and all its inhabitants. On that day, every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Yahuah alone is Sovereign over all. Those who have claimed otherwise will face His righteous judgment, and there will be no escape.

Repent now, while there is still time, and submit to Yahuah’s rightful ownership of all things. For the earth is Yahuah’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
